Online Grade Mistakes

If I make a mistake online, please do not stress out.  Simply follow this procedure.  Bring the matter to my attention before class and I will fix it. If the matter involves an assignment you must bring that graded assignment to me and the problem will be corrected.  If you don’t have your graded assignment you cannot receive credit for it.  Therefore, make sure you keep all assignments until such time as you are certain you received full credit for them.    I would recommend keeping ALL assignments until the end of each semester.

Late Work

Completion of assignments on a timely basis is critical.  Therefore, I do not in any way want to encourage late work, so this is my policy.  Every student is entitled to 3 late assignments per nine weeks.   Each late assignment will be penalized by half credit.  After those 3 assignments, no late work will be accepted

Please consider the following when completing assignments:

  • Work that is copied from or with another student or plagiarized from the text will receive zero credit.
  • All work should be legible. If your writing is poor, please consider typing it.
  • You do not just receive full credit for turning work in. You earn credit by writing complete and correct answers.
  • Printer problems occasionally occur. Here are some solutions: (1) Write out the assignment (2) Save it to a flash drive to bring to me or (3) email it to me.    Problem solved!
